Located in Kwania District, Northern Uganda, Alero Digital Empowerment Hub (ADEH) was founded in 2023 with the mission to empower grassroots communities through digital literacy, mentorship, and access to technology in order to foster innovation, entrepreneurship and inclusive growth. We envision digitally literate and empowered communities where everyone has the skills, tools and opportunities needed to thrive in the digital age. Since its founding in 2023, ADEH has conducted numerous digital literacy trainings for youth and women in Kwania district directly empowering over 50 individuals.
Empowering the next generation and promoting digital equality! Our Digital Skills for Youth and Women program provides training and mentorship in: Basic digital literacy, Digital entrepreneurship, Online safety and security, Creative digital tools, and other skills needed
Alero Digital Empowerment Hub's Youth Digital Empowerment program equips young people with digital literacy, coding, and tech skills, fostering innovation, creativity, and socio-economic opportunities, while promoting online safety and digital citizenship for a brighter future.
Bridging the digital divide! Our Grassroots Community Access Points program establishes public access centers where community members can access digital tools, internet, and training. ADEH provides: Public computers, affordable internet access, and Digital literacy training,
Empowering local voices through digital storytelling! Our Grassroots Community Media Production program equips community members with skills to create engaging digital content, including videos, podcasts, and social media campaigns. Participants learn production techniques and storytelling to amplify their voices.
Alero Digital Empowerment Hub's Digital Entrepreneurship Incubation program empowers startups with mentorship, training, and resources to develop innovative digital businesses, providing access to funding, networking, and market opportunities to drive growth and success in the digital economy.
Alero Digital Empowerment Hub's Smart Digital Agriculture program empowers farmers with digital tools, precision farming, and data analysis, enhancing productivity, efficiency, and decision-making. The program improves livelihoods, sustainability, and market access, driving agricultural innovation.
